Plot
Saavi is a girl who drives an auto-rickshaw to provide for her family. She lives in her maternal uncle Brijesh's house along with her mother Nutan, and elder sister Sonam, after her father died in a road accident.
Nityam Dalmiya is a wealthy businessman. His mother, Vedika, is looking for a suitable girl (whose horoscope matches his) for him. Sonam, Saavi's elder sister, falls in love with Nityam. She finds out that the girl destined for Nityam is none other than Saavi. Intending to make Nityam her own, she exchanges her horoscope with Saavi's. Despite this, Vedika doesn't like Sonam as her daughter-in-law. Sonam's plans fail as the truth behind the exchange of horoscopes comes out before Vedika. Disapprovingly, Vedika breaks the wedding with Sonam and marries Nityam to Saavi.
No one in the Dalmiya house accepts Saavi as the daughter-in-law. Uma, Nityam's grandmother, tells Vedika she would accept Saavi only if the latter sits in the puja and fully completes it. Saavi completes the puja and is thus accepted by Uma.
Dimpy, Nityam's malicious aunt and his uncle Himesh's second wife reveals that Saavi had been driving an auto-rickshaw late at night. As a result, everyone begins to hate Saavi, and Dimpy believes her plan has succeeded. Sonam's boyfriend Shivam, who knows Sonam's true colours, wishes to teach her a lesson. On the other hand, Himesh's daughter Tashvi urf Tashu is having an affair with Tushar, a boy who turns out to be a cheater. On learning the truth, Saavi resolves to help Tashu but is instead misunderstood by Nityam. She falls into the trap laid out by Dimpy. Enraged, Nityam sells Chhatriprasad, Saavi's beloved auto rickshaw. When Saavi learns the truth, she breaks her relationship with Nityam. On realising his mistake, Nityam fixes the auto rickshaw by himself, thus winning Saavi's heart. Eventually, Saavi falls for Nityam.
On the other side of the story, Shivam reveals his true identity to his best friend and house companion, Krishna. When Saavi gets to know the truth, she tries revealing it to everyone but fails to prove it because of Dimpy's treachery. Offended, Nityam breaks his marriage with Saavi by performing the marriage's last rites. He is determined to divorce Saavi and end their relationship (which he feels has been forced on him against his will) forever.
Saavi tries her best to reunite Raksham with his family and in an attempt to do so, she sends him to the Dalmiya household as a caterer called Pyare Mohan Benarasi. Dimpy happens to uncover the plan because of Sonam's foolishness and gullibility. On Nityam's birthday, she reveals the truth to everyone, so Nityam forces Saavi to leave the house. Raksham finally reunites with the family.
A reformed Himesh teams up with Saavi to expose Dimpy to the entire family. They successfully execute their plan on the day of Chaitya Navaratri; thus, the whole family sees Dimpy's true colors. As punishment, Dimpy is banished from the Dalmiya household.
Saavi's uncle, Hrishikesh, is a greedy man whose eyes are set on the Dalmiyas' fortune. To extort money from the Dalmiya family, he joins Saavi's aunt Ratna (Brijesh's wife) and files a false case of domestic violence against the entire family. Due to this, the entire family excluding Raksham and Himesh misunderstands Saavi. Little changes even when Saavi uncovers the truth and clears the family's name. Uma, who was away then, is shocked to learn about the case and dies of a sudden heart attack. Nityam holds Saavi responsible for Uma's death. All the family members started to hate Saavi despite Himesh and Raksham 6 months later Saavi and Nityam are separate. Saavi's childhood friend Manav comes into their life which makes Nityam jealous. By Sonam trick Raksham and Sonam get married. Later Raksham realises Nityam is in love with Saavi. Raksham learns that he's Vedika's adopted son and leaves the house. The entire family brings him back. Finally, Nityam realises that he loves Saavi and wants to tell her.
