Sabina Ćudić

Sabina Ćudić (born 1982) is a Bosnian politician serving as member of the national House of Representatives since 2022. She is the current vice-president of Our Party as well.

Ćudić has also been a member of the Parliamentary Assembly of the Council of Europe since 2023.

Early life and education

Ćudić was born in Sarajevo, SFR Yugoslavia, present-day Bosnia and Herzegovina, in 1982. She graduated in political science and international studies from Towson University in the United States, and holds a master's degree in human rights and democracy from the University of Bologna and the University of Sarajevo.[1]

Career

Ćudić is a member and vice-president of the social-liberal Our Party.[2] She was a candidate for the office of municipal mayor of Novo Sarajevo in the 2012 municipal elections, but failed to get elected.[3] In the 2018 general election, she was elected to the Federal House of Representatives.[2]

Ćudić was elected to the national House of Representatives in the 2022 general election, obtaining over 20,000 votes.[4] Since March 2023, she has been a member of the Parliamentary Assembly of the Council of Europe.[5]

Personal life

Ćudić married Kosovo-Albanian actor Alban Ukaj at New York City Hall in New York on 10 April 2014.[6] Their child, a boy named Nardis, was born in August 2015.[7]
