Samir Shrestha

Samir Shrestha(Nepali: समीर श्रेष्ठ) is a young Nepali singer, songwriter, and guitarist known for his contribution to Nepali pop music.[1] His first debut song was Chaar Dewar, which was released in 2021.[2] His song, Thamana Haat which was released in 2022, became popular.[3] His recently released song with Swoopna Suman, Je Chhau Timi, has become popular, especially among youngsters. He started gaining popularity after the release of his songs Timi Bhayara (2022) and Je Chhau Timi (2023).[4][5][6]

Personal life

Samir Shrestha was born on March 15, 2002, in Kathmandu, Nepal. He is the son of father Sanu Babu Shrestha and mother Salina shrestha.[1][7]

Musical career

Samir started his musical career in 2021 with the song Chaar Dewar.[8] In 2022, his song Timi Bhayara became popular among Nepalese audiences, from which he gained more popularity.[9] In 2022, he released the song Mayalu Sunana. In 2023, he came up with the song Je Chhau Timi, which became popular and trended on YouTube, making him more well known among Nepalese and international audiences.[10][4]
