Sankhvast

Sankhvast (Persian: سنخواست, also Romanized as Sankhvāst; also known as Sanghas, Sangkhuast, Sankhāş, and Sankhāst)[3] is a city in, and the capital of, Jolgeh Sankhvast District of Jajarm County, North Khorasan province, Iran.

At the 2006 census, its population was 2,009 in 590 households.[4] The following census in 2011 counted 2,120 people in 677 households.[5] The latest census in 2016 showed a population of 2,077 people in 688 households.[2]
