Studying at a primary level

Malam did his primary school at Khairul Bariyya Islamic Primary School in Kano (1978-1983). He then continued his Junior High School (H.I.S) at Shahuci High School, Kano (1987), and went on to the School of Advanced Islamic Studies, Gwale, where he completed Senior Islamic Studies with Distinction in the year 1989.[1]

Madina university

Dr. Muhammad Sani received a scholarship in the Department of Hadith Science at the Islamic University of Medina after completing his first degree in Hadith Science and Islamic Studies (B.A. in Hadith Science and Islamic Studies, 1994) and his second degree in Hadith Science and Islamic Studies. Islamic studies (M.A. in Hadith Science and Islamic Studies, 2000) both of them graduated with the highest honor (First Class and Distinction). Due to his desire for deep knowledge and research, the teacher went on to study for his third degree (PhD) at the Islamic University of Madinah, which God gave him the opportunity to complete in 2005, with the highest honor (Distinction).[2]

He is a lecturer at Bayero University Kano. Sani Umar studied Hadith sciences at the Islamic University of Madinah in Saudi Arabia from undergraduate to postgraduate level.[3][4][1]

Senior Lecturer in the Department of Islamic Religion at Alkalam Islamic University in Katsina from 2006 to 2012 Senior Lecturer in the Department of Islamic Religion at Bayero University in Kano from 2013 to now Chairman of the committee to recruit new members of the joint organization Scholars of Africa Study in prison that the University of Madinah is presenting to Arab scholars and the lessons of the Islamic religion.   • International Conference on Sunnah and Sirah, organized by the Ministry of Islamic Affairs, K.S.A. presented a topic titled (The Importance attached to Sunnah In Hausa Literature) (Madinah, 2004).
  • International Conference on Supporting the Holy Prophet (S.A.W), organized by the International University Of Khartum, and Al-Muntada Organization, Al-Khartum, Sudan, presented a topic titled (The Position of the holy Prophet within his companions and the rest of Ummah (Sudan, 2007).
  • Bamako Conference For The Importance of the media in Da'awah, which took place on 20th - 24th July, 2010 presented a paper titled (Media participation: Its importance and Criteria).
  • The regional Conference on Da' awa in Sudan under the theme of "Adda'iya Al-Mutamayyiz" Khartum, 19th - 23rd October 2014, presented a topic titled: "Al-Bina'ul Ilmi Lidda'iya" (i.e. making a solid Academic background for Islamic Preacher" International Islamic Conference of Security Stability in the Face of Contemporary Challenges organized by Muslim World League with Cooperation of J.I.B.W.I.S Nigeria Held in Abuja Between 16th to 19th March 2016, Presented Paper Titled (Al-Ghuluw: Asbabuhu wa Ilajuhu "Extremism: Factors and Wayout ").

  • International Conference on Islam in Africa: Combating Extremism and Terrorism organized by International Moderation Forum in Hashimite kingdom of Jordan, in Cooperation with the Islamic peace Society and the Nigerian Center for Arabic Research, Paper Presented Titled: "Advancing peace by establishing the Al-Wasatiyya and avoiding the extremism", Held between 8th to 9th August 2015.[2]

Dr Muhammad Sani, is currently living in Kano city with his family while he is busy with studies and da'wa activities.[4]
