Sarsang Hydro Power Plant

The Sarsang Hydro Power Plant is a hydro power plant located de jure in the Tartar District of Azerbaijan, de facto in the Martakert Province of the self-proclaimed Republic of Artsakh. The power plant has an installed electric capacity of 50 megawatts (67,000 hp) on Sarsang reservoir,[1] and provides 40-60% of the electricity consumed in the Republic of Artsakh.[2] In 1990, the station generated 81.9 million kWh.[3]
