Serhii Korovayny

Serhii Korovayny[lower-alpha 1] is a Ukrainian photo-journalist notable for their work covering the Russo-Ukrainian war.[1][2] They are a regular contributor to the Wall Street Journal, and there work has been featured in numerous publications and organizations, such as Time Magazine,[3] National Geographic,[4] and the United Nations.[5][6]

In 2022 Korovayny was awarded the James Foley Award for Conflict Reporting.[7]

Before the war Korovayny worked primarily on environmental documentary journalism in Ukraine.[3]

Korovayny was a Fulbright scholar and earned a Master of Arts in Photography from Syracuse University.[7]
