Inspector Ranjith Kumar a corrupt cop is appointed to find the missing car. During the investigation, he suspects three people: a car mechanic Uma Maheswara Rao; a Kotipalli villager Siva; and a middle-class youngster Karthik and arrests them. Meanwhile, Krishna the son of Jagannath tells Ranjit that he had taken the car and celebrated his birthday party without his father's knowledge then he shares an emotional bond with the car who had memories of his late mother in his childhood, and requests that he find the car soon.
In his investigation finds out that three innocent Uma Maheswara Rao opened the car to take a water bottle in the car for Bhanumathi his girlfriend. Siva entered the car along with Krishna's friend Smita for a failed one-night stand then Ranjit's fate turns out that he became one of the witnesses in the crime who takes bribes from Siva thinking that he was the car owner. Later Karthik who is in a drunken state takes the car keys from drunken Krishna and went to meet his girlfriend Madhu who is going abroad for her masters. Later he returned to the pub and returned home in his car. So he closes the case without finding any evidence.
Later Ranjit reveals the main culprit to his loyal constable Satya Narayana i.e. none other than Jagannath himself stole the car with the assistance of his P.A. Because he got a tip from a minister that IT rides are going to happen at his home soon because of buying the "Shamanthakamani" in the auction. So he decided to shift the illegal documents, black money, and ornaments temporarily then he learned that Krishna's birthday party celebrations in the hotel and he tactically approves it then he observes Krishna secretly taking the car then orders his P. A to steal the car with the spare key. At first P. A became tensed when the car was missing later he entered the car after Karthik parks it and safely arrived at Jagannath's godown. Later he forged a false complaint of theft of his car to believe the IT dept. for not checking into Shamanthakamani. Then he offered Rs.30 lakhs as a bribe to Ranjit to close the case and he deliberately accepted the offer and closed the case.
After a successful ride failure, Jagannath comes to retrieve his documents and money and then decides to destroy the car for safekeeping. Then he discovers that all the money worth 100 crores had been stolen then he had a cardiac arrest and becomes paralyzed. It is revealed that when opening the car Uma Maheswara Rao stole the diamonds, While giving a bribe to Ranjit, Siva noticed the black money in his car seat and stole it all when Karthik meets Madhu. Here, Karthik who returned home after the inquiry observed that he didn't return the key to Krishna and realized that the key chain contained a rare diamond.
Finally, the film ends with Krishna not bothered about the theft and deciding to take care of his father, Siva had started a bar and restaurant in Kotipalli and finds Sridevi's (his former lover who leaves him not having money) husband orders his friends to give drinks free to him all the time, Uma Maheswara Rao migrated to Dubai with his lady love, Karthik decided to go abroad for masters where Madhu was studying and finally, Ranjit was the subject of a departmental inquiry for his corrupt practices.
