Simeonie Quppapik
Simeonie Quppapik (1909–1997) was an Inuit artist.[1]
Quppapik grew up in Qamaarjuak (Amadjuak). When he was fourteen, he was photographed by Robert Flaherty. [2]
His work is included in the collections of the National Gallery of Canada,[1] Winnipeg Art Gallery,[3] the Augustana Teaching Museum of Art,[4] and the Museum of Anthropology at the University of British Columbia.[5]
