Soehrensia bruchii, is a species of Echinopsis found in Argentina.[1]

Description

Soehrensia bruchii usually grows solitary. The depressed spherical shoots reach a diameter of up to 50 centimeters. There are up to 50 and more, low, distinct ribs that are somewhat inflated or bumpy between the areoles. The areoles on it are white. Twelve to 15 spread, yellowish or brown thorns arise from them.

The deep red flowers appear near the top of the shoots and open during the day. They are 4 to 5 centimeters long and have the same diameter.
