He was known for his jokes during broadcasts.[5]
Elliot started broadcasting weather on Channel 4 Detroit from the 1950s to the 1970s.[6] He moved to Channel 2 Detroit in 1978,[7] and also hosted a movie series on local channel 50.[8][9] He was known for his jokes during his weather broadcast and combining words together.
