History
Kobanita as a women's basketball competition in Indonesia in 2001 was running until it stopped in 2008. It was continued in 2011–2012, a professional competition called the women's national basketball league (WNBL) and in 2016 it was replaced with the Indonesian Women's Basketball League (WIBL), held again by top Indonesian teams. Until 2017, the name was changed to Srikandi Cup, Srikandi was taken to reflect the characteristics of Indonesia.
Srikandi is the name of a wayang which is characteristic of Indonesia. Here we want to show that the players who appear have greatness and beauty like Srikandi in wayang characters, and in 2018-2019 it was the last tournament[2] and has not been held again.
