Stephen Gange
Stephen Gange is an American epidemiologist and academic administrator serving as the interim provost of Johns Hopkins University since May 1, 2023. He is a professor of epidemiology at the Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health.
Life
Gange earned a Ph.D. in statistics from the University of Wisconsin–Madison in 1994.[1][2] In 2007, he became a full professor of epidemiology in the Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health.[3][2] He is a fellow of the American College of Epidemiology and an elected member of the American Epidemiological Society.[3][2] In 2015, he became the executive vice provost for academic affairs of Johns Hopkins University. On May 1, 2023, Gange succeeded Sunil Kumar as interim provost.[3]
