Stereocaulon vesuvianum is a species of snow lichen belonging to the family Stereocaulaceae.[1]

Ecology

Stereocaulon vesuvianum is a known host to the lichenicolous fungus species Cercidospora stereocaulorum,[2] Endococcus nanellus,[3] Odontotrema stereocaulocola.[2] and Scutula stereocaulorum.[4][5]
