History

Stigma was formed in Nuremberg in 2021 by Gerald Zinnegger and Markus Mantau. The two knew each other since they were playing together in the band Savage Crow, when they released the album Way of the Cross together in 2008.[4][5]

The initial lineup consisted of the band members Gerald Zinnegger (voice),[6] Markus Mantau (lead guitar), René Chlebnitschek (bass), Pavel Lein (drums).[7] In 2023, Stigma released the album First Call.[8][9]

Stigma's music video for "Lies of War"[10] won two "Best Music Video Awards" at the Red Moon Film Festival in New York City,[11] as well as at the Multi Dimension Independent Film Festival in London.[12]

The single "Fire" was subsequently released in the same year.[13][14][15]

Stigma has also collaborated with the Nürnberg Rams, an American football team in Germany.[16]
