Sukihana

Destiny Lanette Henderson (born November 15, 1991), better known by her stage name Sukihana, is an American reality television personality and rapper. She rose to prominence as a cast member on the VH1 reality series Love & Hip Hop: Miami. She has released one mixtape, titled Wolf Pussy.

Early life and education

Sukihana was born and raised in Wilmington, Delaware. She spent her formative years in creative art school, and was based in Atlanta, Georgia, before moving to Miami, Florida.

Career

Sukihana made her name as one of the stars on the third season of Love & Hip Hop: Miami, released in 2020. She made a cameo appearance in American rapper Cardi B's music video for her single "WAP", which was released on August 7, 2020.[2]

In September 2020, she released her debut mixtape Wolf Pussy.[3]

Personal life

She got her nickname from an Asian restaurant in the Christiana Mall, as someone joked she "tasted like Sukihana".[4] She has three children; two boys and a girl, who reside with Sukihana’s grandmother Cynthia in Atlanta.

YK Osiris controversy

In the summer of 2023, YK Osiris stirred online controversy after a clip leaked of him attempting to kiss Sukihana, while taping a basketball game, provided by Revolt, a digital cable network founded by Sean "Diddy" Combs. After he gained backlash for what users assumed was attempted sexual assault, Osiris apologized to his fans and Sukihana, who later forgave the artist.[5][6]
