Sultan of Delhi: Ascension is novel written by Arnab Ray published on 20 November 2016 by Hachette India Publishers.[1][2] The 2023-crime thriller web series Sultan of Delhi released on Disney+Hotstar is based on this book.[3][4]

Plot
The story starts with the Independent India, in 1947.[5] Arjun Bhatia, a boy belonged to a former rich family of Lahore in pre-partition era reaches the Indian National Capital, Delhi with his father. They lived in a camp taken cared by a local businessman. Arjun diches his father and runs away to become a rich and known man. Arjun meets Bangali, a former resident of Kolkata, West Bengal who ran away from his home in childhood. They both started working under local businessman, later a politician Seth Ji. They got into a controversial fight with Rajendra, camp owner's son. The story end when Arjun Bhatia kills Bangali.[6]
