Both trains are hauled by a Vadodara locomotive shed-based WAP-4E electric locomotive from Surat to Ahmedabad Junction and from Ahmedabad Junction, it is hauled by a Vatva Locomotive shed or Sabarmati Locomotive shed-based WDM-3A or WDP-4D diesel locomotive uptil Mahuva Junction, and vice versa.
