TASC Outsourcing (pronounced: Task) is a staffing and managed services company of the Middle East, headquartered in Dubai, United Arab Emirates. Founded in November 2007 by Mahesh Shahdadpuri, TASC has grown exponentially over the years, having a geographical presence in 68 countries, and serving more than 450 clients through its extensive network across the MENA region.[1]

History

Founding and Early Beginnings (2007 – 2014)

TASC Outsourcing was founded in 2007 by Mahesh Shahdadpuri, an entrepreneur with a passion for creating 'something new and different.' Despite starting in an industry he had limited knowledge about, Mahesh quickly turned the company into a highly successful enterprise. With an initial capital of around $150,000, Mahesh Shahdadpuri built TASC Outsourcing into a venture that, in just six years, achieved a turnover close to $100 million.[1] From its humble origins with just a handful of IT engineers, TASC Outsourcing's workforce grew to reach 3,000 employees working across diverse fields such as IT, retail, contact centres, financial services, administration support, and oil and gas.

Rapid Growth and Recent History (2015 – Present)

TASC won its first major client in 2008, and by 2015, it had grown to a company with a contractor base of over 3,000 people. In 2015, demonstrating its commitment to innovation and technology, TASC began using Ramco Systems' enterprise resource planning (ERP) software.[2]

The company has since grown to become one of the largest providers of contract, permanent and remote professionals in the Middle East, with a contractor base of over 5,500 people from 68 countries and spanning 76 job functions. As of 2023, TASC is a partner of choice for more than 450 companies within the region.

Global Rebrand (2021)

On 11th July 2021, TASC Outsourcing underwent a rebranding process, launching a new logo to reflect the company's forward-thinking approach and commitment to innovation. The rebranding reflects the company's renewed focus on developing novel ideas, technologies, products, and services.

TASC PROF (2008 – Present)

Provides recruitment services across diverse industry sectors such as finance, legal, procurement, human resources, sales, and marketing. In addition to recruitment, TASC PROF also offers executive coaching, business consulting, psychometric and technical assessments, and market intelligence.

TASC Temp (2017 – Present)

TASC Temp is a digital platform for temporary staffing that caters to businesses that need resources for short-term projects, maternity cover, headcount restrictions, etc. for a period of 5 days to 6 months.

AIQU (2019 – Present)

Connects technology specialists with organizations seeking to execute high-impact technology projects. Launched in 2019, AIQU provides tech staffing solutions across six dedicated specializations including Digital, Software Engineering, BI, Big Data and Analytics, IT Infrastructure and Cybersecurity, ERP and CRM, and Financial Crime and Compliance.

Future Milez (2021 – Present)

In response to a rise in demand for delivery riders and drivers, Future Milez was launched in 2021 as part of the TASC Group. Future Milez has become a preferred delivery rider and driver outsourcing partner for some of the largest brands in the United Arab Emirates, serving industries such as retail, grocery, fashion, and consumer electronics.

TASC Corporate Services (2022 – Present)

A strategic business partner that offers a wide range of corporate and business setup services. Operating within the GCC region, TASC Corporate Services provides services such as PRO/GRO, business setup, payroll outsourcing, HR outsourcing/consultancy, and digital transformation services.

Corporate Social Responsibility

TASC Outsourcing believes in the importance of giving back to the community and as such, has been part of various community initiatives over the years.

Animal Welfare: TASC has shown its support for animal welfare by supporting the Stray Dogs Centre in Umm Al Quwain.

Support for Special Needs: TASC has also engaged with the Special Needs Future Development Center in Dubai, volunteering to spend time with the children, and engaging in activities like painting and playing games.

Art Collaboration: TASC has recently collaborated with children with special needs to create artwork for their annual corporate diaries. This initiative gives children with special needs a platform to showcase their artistic talents and promotes inclusivity.

Blood Donation Drives: Since 2017, TASC has been partnering with the Dubai Health Authority to host blood donation drives.

COVID-19 Relief Fund: In response to the global pandemic, TASC established a COVID-19 Relief Fund for their employees. The fund was set up to provide financial aid to employees who were severely affected by the pandemic, providing support during these challenging times.
