Tamer Hassan
Tamer Hassan (born 18 March 1968) is a British actor. He is best known for his role as the leader of the Millwall firm, opposite Danny Dyer, in The Football Factory (2004), Layer Cake (2004), Batman Begins (2005), The Business (2005), The Ferryman (2007), Sucker Punch (2008), Wrong Turn 3: Left for Dead (2009), Kick-Ass (2010), The Double (2011), The Hooligan Factory (2014), Game of Thrones (2016), and Snatch (TV series) (2017–2018).

Early life
Hassan was born and brought up in New Cross, London into a Turkish Cypriot family.[1][2][3]
Hassan started boxing at the age of 10. He started an amateur boxing career at the age of 17 where he won two British titles. Having sustained an injury in amateur boxing, he turned to running nightclubs and restaurants.[4][3]
Acting career
Hassan started acting in television before his role in The Calcium Kid.[4] He was cast as the leader of a fictional football firm in The Football Factory, alongside Danny Dyer and Frank Harper.[4] The film's director Nick Love subsequently cast him in the primary supporting role for The Business.[5]
Hassan has had roles in films including The Ferryman,[5] Batman Begins,[5] Cass,[5] Eastern Promises,[5] and Clash of the Titans,[5] in which he portrayed Ares, the ancient Greek god of war. In 2011, he played "The Boss", a shady police officer, in the British film noir Jack Falls. He played "Chavez" in Wrong Turn 3: Left for Dead.[5]
In 2016 he joined the HBO series Game of Thrones in Season 6 as Khal Forzo.[6]
Personal life
Hassan is married and has two children: a son who is a football player,[7] and a daughter, Belle, who appeared in the fifth series of Love Island in 2019.[8]
He is also a close friend of fellow actors Danny Dyer,[9] Ray Winstone and Danniella Westbrook. [8]
Hassan's family were caught up in the 7.8 magnitude 2023 Turkey–Syria earthquake, which claimed the lives of over 50,000 people, and made millions homeless.[8] Though devastated, Hassan was involved in promoting a campaign to raise money to help the victims.[8]
