It is found in Senegal, Burkina Faso, northern Ivory Coast, Nigeria (north of Kano), Niger (Aïr), northern Cameroon, Chad, Sudan, northern Uganda, north-western Kenya and Somalia.[2] The habitat consists of arid (Sahelian) savanna
