Terrion Arnold

Terrion Arnold (born March 22, 2003) is an American football cornerback for the Alabama Crimson Tide.

Early years

Arnold's hometown is Tallahassee, Florida and he attended John Paul II Catholic High School. In Arnold's high school career he played as a wide receiver and as a safety. On offense he caught 26 passes from 404 yards and three touchdowns, and he rushed for 78 yards. On defense he notched 49 tackles, five pass deflections, four interceptions, and a blocked field goal.[2] A four star prospect, Arnold would commit to play college football at the University of Alabama.[3][4][5]

College career

In the 2021 season, Arnold redshirted and did not play in any games.[6] In week six of the 2022 season, Arnold recorded his first career interception off a pass by Haynes King before breaking up a pass in the end zone on the final play of the game to help the #1 Crimson Tide survive Texas A&M 24–20.[7][8] In week 11, Arnold tallied ten tackles, two pass breakups, and a fumble recovery, as helped Alabama beat Ole Miss 30–24.[9][10] Arnold finished the 2022 season with 45 tackles with one going for a loss, eight pass deflections, an interception, and a fumble recovery.[11][12] For his performance on the season, Arnold was named a 2022 Freshman All-American by FWAA.[13][14] Arnold was also named a semifinalist for the Shaun Alexander Freshman of the Year Award.[15] Arnold has chance to start in the 2023 season, and is in a position battle with corerback's Jaylen Key and Trey Amos.[16]
