"One of the requirements that I wanted from Lis was that she had big tits," Lucía Alemany said in reference to the main character. "Because there is something there, in that 'two days ago I was a girl, and right now I have something that is sexually super attractive'".[5]

The Innocence received positive reviews from film critics. It holds a 100% approval rating on review aggregator website Rotten Tomatoes based on six reviews, with an average rating of 6.8/10.[6]
