The Oblivion Boys
The Oblivion Boys was a comedy double act primarily from the 1980s consisting of Mark Arden and Stephen Frost. As well as appearances on Saturday Live, The Young Ones and The Black Adder,[1] they also became familiar to TV viewers in the UK by appearing in a series of Carling Black Label lager adverts.[2]
The classic of the commercials was the multi-award-winning Surfer when a man surfed into a pub on a giant wave. That man was the stunt double Stuart St Paul who appeared in many of the commercials including 'rollercoaster', 'slime' and others.
