The Outrun (film)
The Outrun is an upcoming drama film directed by Nora Fingscheidt and written by Fingscheidt and Amy Liptrot, based on the 2016 memoir of the same name by Liptrot. The film stars Saoirse Ronan, who also serves as a producer.

In January 2022, it was announced Nora Fingscheidt would direct a film adaptation of Amy Liptrot's memoir The Outrun, with Saoirse Ronan set to star in and produce the project and Fingscheidt and Liptrot writing the screenplay.[2] Production commenced in Orkney in August 2022.[3]
Release
Studiocanal will release the film in the United Kingdom, France, Germany and Austria. Protagonist Pictures will oversee worldwide sales for the film.[1]
