Third battle of Anandpur (1704)

After the second battle of Anandpur (1704), Guru Gobind Singh had ordered Bibi Dalair Kaur to defend Anandpur with 100 women and 10 men. Wajir Khan at first called his troops cowards for not being able to attack women. He rode over a thousand men into the fort the Sikhs were in. The Sikhs attacked them from every corner and he along with his troops dropped dead in the ground. Next, Jabardast Khan raided the fort with his troops. They searched every inch of the fort but did not find anyone. Not being able to think of what happened, they concluded that the Sikhs escaped from some secret passage. However, when the Mughals troops were sacking the fort, they found the martyred bodies of all the Sikhs.[1][2][3]
