Titas Sadhu

Titas Ranadeep Sadhu (born 29 September 2004) is an Indian cricketer who plays for the Indian women’s national cricket team and Bengal in domestic cricket.[1] She was a part of the 2023 U19 Women’s T20 World Cup winning Indian team and was adjudged the player of the match in the final.[2]

Sadhu made her WT20I debut on 24 September 2023 against Bangladesh at the 2022 Asian Games.[3] In the same tournament, she played a key role as a bowler in the gold medal match against Sri Lanka which was won by India.[4]

Early life

Sadhu was born on 29 September 2004 in Chinsura, West Bengal. At the age of 16, Sadhu was selected to play for the senior Bengal team.[5] She used to study at the Techno India Group Public School.[6]

Career

Sadhu was awarded the player of the match in the final of inaugural U19 Women’s World Cup. In 2023 Women's Premier League, Sadhu was a part of the Delhi Capitals but did not play any match.[7]

In August 2023, she was selected in Indian squad for the 2022 Asian Games.[8] On 24 September 2023, she made her international debut for India against Bangladesh.[3]
