Plot
The film begins with four friends - a hotel server Ram Murthy, a photographer Damodaram, a chariot rider Kotaiah, and a bandmaster Bhadraiah - buying a lottery ticket from a drunkard. The ticket turns out to be a winner when Damodaram and Kotaiah slaughter Bhadraiah and implicate Ram Murthy. As a result, Ram Murthy's children, Raja and Sandeep, are left orphaned and their aunt Mary raises them along with her daughter Julie. Years roll by, and Damodaram and Kotaiah become multi-millionaires with the lottery amount and contract a fabulous hotel. Raja is a waiter and Damodaram sends his son Siva abroad for schooling. Here, Raja and Siva are bosom buddies since childhood, and they coincidentally love the same girl Latha, Bhadraiah's daughter. Eventually, Julie falls for Siva.
Meanwhile, Siva returns as an alcoholic and ailing due to Latha's refusal. Discovering it, Raja sacrifices his love by having Latha develop hatred towards him. Simultaneously, Sandeep is the beau of Rani, Latha's younger sister. Learning it, their mother Malathi rejects the alliance, perceiving him as Ram Murthy's son. It is revealed that Ram Murthy is alive in Hong Kong, rescued by a Don. Presently, the wheel of fortune makes Damodaram and Kotaiah as Don's partners who misled him in a deal. So, Don sends Ram Murthy to seek vengeance. However, Kotaiah identifies him and wants to eliminate both Ram Murthy and Damodaram. At that juncture, Siva finds out about Raja's sacrifice, so he returns to his love and decides to marry Julie. Thereupon, Kotaiah's son Ashok attacks Damodaram, but he escapes. In that fight, Ram Murthy kidnaps Siva and Ashok and Raja chases them, where he recognizes him as his father as Siva also joins them. Besides, an enraged Damodaram brings out the proof of photograph while Kotaiah slays Bhadraiah. Being aware of it, Kotaiah kills Damodaram; fortunately, by the time Sandeep arrives, and before dying, Damodaram hands it over to him. Kotaiah mortgages Ram Murthy for Ashok instead of Sandeep. During that time, all at once, Don strikes on them and seizes the proof. At last, the trio stop the baddies and save Ram Murthy. Finally, the movie ends on a happy note with the marriage of the trio with their fiancées, and again, the same drunkard visiting their new hotel to sell a lottery ticket.
