History

Tweak India was launched on 30 September 2019[6][7] with the goal of giving modern Indian women a credible, one-stop platform which talks to them about every aspect of their lives.[8] Tweak is known for its irreverent, tongue-in-cheek approach to wellness, career and lifestyle content, with a strong emphasis on books.[9] Tweak India's founding Editor is Rochelle Pinto.[10][11]

In 2020, Tweak India launched a book imprint, Tweak Books, in association with Juggernaut. It has since published two children's books, When I Grow Up, I Want To Be Volume 1 and 2, and a cookbook called What's In Your Dabba, which features easy-to-make recipes from celebrities and popular names.[12][13][14][15][16]

In 2021, Tweak India launched their YouTube show, The Icons with Twinkle Khanna,[17] featuring India's most respected celebrities from writer and philanthropist Sudha Murthy[18] and Nobel Peace Prize winner Malala Yousufzai[19] to veteran actors Waheeda Rehman,[20][21] Kajol[22][23] and Vidya Balan. In its second season, The Icons has expanded its scope to include names from a wide variety of fields, including Alphabet CEO Sundar Pichai, serial entrepreneur Masaba Gupta,[24][25] journalist Faye D'Souza and more.[26][27]

In December 2022, the Good Glamm Group, co-founded by Darpan Sanghvi, Priyanka Gill and Naiyya Saggi, acquired a 51 percent stake in Tweak India.[28] The company now functions under the banner of the Good Media Co, which also owns ScoopWhoop, PopXO, Miss Malini and Baby Chakra.[29][30][31]

In June 2023, Tweak India announced the launch of the Tweak Book Club, in association with Crossword Bookstores, India's largest book retailer.[32]
