Ungut County
Ungut County (Persian: شهرستان انگوت, Azerbaijani: Üngüt şəhəri) is in Ardabil province, Iran. Its capital is the city of Tazeh Kand-e Angut.[2]

At the 2006 census, the region's population (as Angut District of Germi County) was 27,494 in 5,626 households.[3] The following census in 2011 counted 22,606 in 5,485 households.[4] At the 2016 census, there were 20,335 people in 5,738 households.[5] The district was separated from Germi County in December 2020 to establish Ungut County.[2]
