Viky Adrianova

Viktoria Adrianova Yavorova (Bulgarian: Виктория Адрианова Яворова) (born 12 May 2003) is a footballer who plays as a winger for the subsidiary teams of Barcelona Femení.[1] Born in Bulgaria and raised in Spain to Bulgarian parents, she is a naturalised citizen of Spain.[2]

Early life

Adrianova was born in Bulgaria and moved to Spain with her family at the age of two.[3] She started playing football at a young age,[4] and futsal at the age of five.[5]

Club career

Adrianova is regarded as a Spanish prospect.[6] While playing for the youth academy of Barcelona, she combined football with academic studies.[6] In 2021, she was honored for her academic performance.[7]

Eventually, she was promoted to the reserve team of Barcelona.[8] By 2022, she had received three surgeries for injuries throughout her career.[4] During the 2022/23 season, she helped the B and C teams win the league.[9]

Style of play

Adrianova mainly operates as a striker and is known for her speed.[5]

Personal life

Adrianova has one older brother, one younger sister, and one younger brother.[3]
