Vricon's 3D geo-data and 3D visualization use stereophotogrammetry for visualization. The system used hundreds of images, typically from commercial satellite imagery. [1]
Vricon used automated 3D image processing algorithms to produce high resolution 3D data for government and commercial clients.[1]
On July 1, 2020, Vricon was acquired by Maxar Technologies for approximately $140 million USD. [2]
