Wales women's national rugby league team

The Wales women's national Rugby League team represents Wales in Women's Rugby League. They are administered by the Wales Rugby League. The first match played by the team was a 'friendly' against Great Britain Teachers in 2019. Another friendly match, against England Lions was played in November 2019. The first full international played by the team was in June 2021.[1]

Upcoming Fixtures:

  • France v Wales at Stade Albert Domec, Carcassonne on Sunday 29 October 2023.
  • England v Wales at Headingley Stadium on Saturday 4 November 2023 part of a double-header with the Third Test of the men's series between England and Tonga.[17]
  • During 2023 and 2024 Wales were drawn to play the following three teams in Group A of the European Qualifiers for the 2025 Women's Rugby League World Cup.[18] Dates and hosts were selected but the venues were yet to be announced.[19][20] In May 2023, following the withdrawal of France as hosts of the 2025 World Cups, the European Rugby League announced that fixtures scheduled for 2023 would be postponed.[21][22]
    •  Netherlands in Wales (originally scheduled for 30 Sep 2023).
    •  Greece on in Greece (originally scheduled for 28 Oct 2023).
    •  Turkey on 11 May 2024 in Türkiye.
