Wan Kuzri

Wan Kuzri bin Wan Kamal (born 9 August 2002) is a footballer who plays as a midfielder for Akron Zips. Born in the United States, he has been called up to represent Malaysia internationally at youth level.[1][2][3]

Early life and education

Kuzri was born and raised in the United States.[4] He is a native of Carbondale, United States.[5] Kuzri attended the University of Akron in the United States, where he was regarded as one of the soccer team's most important players.[6]

Career

As a youth player, Kuzri joined the St Louis Scott Gallagher Academy, where he was regarded as one of the team's most important players.[7]

Kuzri has been called up to represent Malaysia internationally at youth level.[8][9] Kuzri has received comparisons to Croatia international Luka Modric and Germany international Toni Kroos.[10]

Personal life

Kuzri is the younger brother of Wan Kuzain is a professional soccer player in the United States.[11][12] His older brother, Wan Ahmad Fayhsal, is a Malaysian politician.
