Waris Ali
Warish Ali (Hindi: वारिस अली) was an Indian politician. He was the member of 15th Uttar Pradesh legislative assembly from Nanpara constituency Bahraich district.[1][2]

Political life
Waris was elected a member of the Uttar Pradesh Legislative Assembly on the Bahujan Samaj Party ticket in the general elections of 2007. He was a member of the Parliamentary Research, Reference, and Study Committee of the Uttar Pradesh Legislative Assembly (2007–2008) and (2008–2009).[3][4]
Death
On July 8, 2018, when Waris was out for a morning walk, his foot suddenly slipped and he fell into a pond, where he died under suspicious circumstances.[5]
