Boundaries

The constituency spans the entire area of County Wicklow, including the towns of Wicklow, Arklow, Baltinglass, Greystones and Bray.[1]

The Electoral (Amendment) (Dáil Constituencies) Act 2017 defines the constituency as:[1]

"The county of Wicklow."

The Constituency Review Report 2023 of the Electoral Commission recommended that at the next general election, Wexford be decreased to a four-seat constituency with the transfer of territory in the south of County Wicklow to the new constituency of Wicklow–Wexford.[2]
