Wierzbno railway station (Piaseczno Narrow-Gauge Railway)

Wierzbno was a railway station operated by the Grójec Narrow-Gauge Railway (now known as Piaseczno Narrow-Gauge Railway), from 1906 to 1937. It was located in the city of Warsaw, Poland, in the neighbourhood of Wierzbno, within the city district of Mokotów. It was part of the railway line between stations of Warszawa Mokotów and Nowe Miasto nad Pilicą.[1][2]

Historia

The Wierzbno railway station was opened in 1906, and was operated by the Grójec Narrow-Gauge Railway (now known as Piaseczno Narrow-Gauge Railway). It was part of the railway line between stations of Warszawa Mokotów and Nowe Miasto nad Pilicą. It was located near the current location of Arcadia Park near Puławska Street, in the city of Warsaw, Poland. The station had operated until 1937.[1][2]
