Yani Xander

Yani Aleksandrov (born 16 January 1997) also known as Yani Xander is a Bulgarian actor. Yani was born in Burgas, Bulgaria. At the age of 19 Yani decided to move to London, United Kingdom to pursue career in acting and 'follow his dream'. He had his training at Anthony Meindl's Actors Workshop (AMAW) in London. Yani Xander is best known for his role as Headless Humphrey’s Body in the BBC TV Series Ghosts.

Early life

Yani Aleksandrov was born in Burgas, Bulgaria, on 16 January 1997 to parents Radostinka and Minyo Aleksandrov. Yani moved to London, United Kingdom in 2016 to pursue career in acting.

Career

In 2017 Xander played a lead role in a short film Different League. He also featured in Amazon Prime's spy thriller series Alex Rider (2020–present) as Stepan Serenkov, son of the Russian Oligarch. Since 2019, Yani has played Humphrey’s Headless Body in Ghosts,[1] a BBC sitcom about a young couple who inherits a haunted estate.
