Z CAM
Z CAM is a Chinese camera brand with products manufactured in China and parts supplied from the controversial Chinese company Huawei.[1] Z Cam is owned by Chinese company Shenzhen ImagineVision Technology Limited.[2][3][4][5][6][7]
In 2020, the Chinese camera manufacturer struggled to survive due to their inability to adequately source camera parts supplied from the controversial Chinese company Huawei.[1] Z Cam also faced a "huge train-wreck" due to the US-China trade war.[1] This had a direct impact through restricting Z Cam's ability to service their customers products and effectively made their customers warranties worthless despite Z Cam's obligations.[1] Z Cam attempted to hide the impact the US-China trade war had on their warranties from their customers through removing this information from the press and Facebook groups.[1]
Z Cam's cameras are designed by the Chinese design company IDING (Chengdu) Innovation Technology Ltd based in Chengdu in China.[8]
