Generalidades

La Ruta Provincial 27, es una carretera argentina, de jurisdicción provincial, ubicada en el sur de la provincia de Córdoba.[1]
Tiene orientación oeste - este. Su kilómetro cero se encuentra en el límite con la vecina provincia de San Luis, y alcanza su punto final en la intersección con la Ruta Provincial 4.
Desplazándose hacia el sur, la Ruta Provincial 27, es la anteúltima ruta provincial con orientación oeste-este (la última es la  RP 26 ), y está asfaltada en poco más del 50% de su extensión, ya que solamente resta hacerlo en un tramo de 38 km entre Villa Valeria y el límite con la provincia de San Luis[2], ya que en el año 2018 se firmó un acuerdo entre los gobernadores de ambas provincias para realizar la obra[3], pero aún en la actualidad (2022), no se ha concretado[4]. Su trazado la inserta en una región netamente agrícola, sirviendo de vía de comunicación para el transporte de granos y ganado.
