Thelypteris

Thelypteris es un género de helechos perteneciente a la familia Thelypteridaceae.[1] Las especies, muy similares entre ellas, se encuentran en gran parte del mundo.[2] Estos helechos son plantas de hábitos terrestres y como excepción crecen en las rocas.[3] La mayoría crecen en ambientes tropicales pero también algunas lo hacen bajo climas templados.[3]
