Craugastor chac est une espèce d'amphibiens de la famille des Craugastoridae[1].

Répartition

Cette espèce se rencontre de 20 à 1 000 m d'altitude sur le versant caraïbe du Guatemala, dans le sud du Belize et dans le nord du Honduras[1].

Les mâles mesurent de 20 à 27 mm et les femelles de 29 à 39 mm[2].

Cette espèce est nommée en l'honneur du dieu de la pluie Chac[3].
