Huile essentielle de bergamote

L'huile essentielle de bergamote, ou essence de bergamote, est une huile essentielle extraite par pression à froid de la partie extérieure de l'écorce (zeste) de bergamote fraiche.

Recherche scientifique

Les données scientifiques accumulées, liées à la richesse des bergamotes en polyphénols, flavonoïdes entre autres, montrent des effets in vitro et chez l'animal : hypolipémiants, hypoglycémiants[1] et anti-tumoraux[2]^,[3]^,[4] notamment[5].
