Paratropis tuxtlensis est une espèce d'araignées mygalomorphes de la famille des Paratropididae[1].

Distribution

Cette espèce est endémique du Veracruz au Mexique[1],[2]. Elle se rencontre à San Andrés Tuxtla.

Le mâle holotype mesure 8,20 mm et la femelle paratype 12,90 mm[2]

Étymologie

Son nom d'espèce, composé de tuxtl[a] et du suffixe latin -ensis, « qui vit dans, qui habite », lui a été donné en référence au lieu de sa découverte, San Andrés Tuxtla.
