Richard Marsh (surf)
Richard Marsh mostly known under Richard "Dog" Marsh is an Australian surfer from Cronulla, Australia. He was born in 1967 and grew up in-between Kurnell and the gold coast.

Richard "Dog" Marsh was a successful professional surfer who finished the 1992 Championship Tour season with a career-high ranking of 8th. Before that he was a Junior professional champion, an Australian title owner (rookie of the year), multiple finals at a CT level including a 2nd at Bells Beach in 1987 and a win in Reunion Island in 1992.
He then retired at just 28 in 1994, Richard Marsh developed numerous business within the Cronulla area including the Triple Bull surf shops and the Cronulla surfing academy. As well as starting his coaching/mentoring career for young local surfers.
From 1994 to 1997 he sat on the board of directors for the Association of Surfing professionals now known as the WSL.
He relocating to Biarritz, France with his family in 2006. Where he started his full time coaching career working with RedBull until 2011 where Billabong appointed him as their International Junior Development Coach. He has worked closely with some of the world's most talented surfers, including Australia's Ryan Callinan and Joel Parkinson, Portugal's Frederico Morais, Italy's Leonardo Fioravanti and numerous other top 10 surfers in which he continues to this day with great success.
In 2020 he had two surfers in the first surfing Olympic Games but was unable to attend due to COVID-19.
