Mimophytum alienoides (G.L.Nesom) R.R.Mill ex Holstein & Weigend, Phytotaxa 288(2): 139 (2016).

Basionym: Omphalodes alienoides G.L.Nesom, Phytoneuron 2013-64: 10 (2013).

Type locality: USA. Texas, Val Verde Co., N-facing ledge of Pecos River below the park overlooking the mouth of the river, corolla light blue at the edge and white in the center.

Holotype: LL00035424: 3 April 1965, D.S. Correll & H.B. Correll 30816
