Subfamilia: Betoideae
Tribus: Hablitzieae
Genus: Patellifolia
Species: Patellifolia webbiana
- formerly often included in Beta (still in Hassler 2018). Deep genetic differentiation revealed by Kadereit et al. (2006) and Romeiras et al. (2016).
- Thulin et al. (2010) proposed to treat all members of Patellifolia as a single variable species, Patellifolia procumbens (sensu lato). This is followed by The Plant List and Euro+Med Plantbase.
- Romeiras et al. (2016) give reasons for 3 distinct species.
