Note: The Report of the Nomenclature Committee for Vascular Plants: 64 to recommend that E. Delpy’s entire series of illustrations of West African trees be added to the list of suppressed works renders this name legitimate over Trillesanthus which is now reduced to synonymy. Therefore APD and Tropicos are incorrect cf. Govaerts et al. and Hassler.
