Ταρτησσός

Etymology
Of uncertain origin; some scholars connect the name to the Hebrew city of תַּרְשִׁישׁ ("Tarshish") or the Anatolian city of Ταρσός (Tarsós), among others. Pausanias wrote that the name was from an Iberian river. More at Tartessos.
