етәксе
Bashkir
Etymology
From *yetäkči (“guide, the person who leads”), which in the meaning of "manager" appears to be a Central Asian innovation; derived from *yetäk "the action of leading a horse on a lead rope, or leading a person by the hand", from Proto-Turkic *jēt- (“to lead a person or animal”).
Cognate with Kazakh жетекші (jetekşi), Nogai етекши (yetekşi), Kyrgyz жетекчи (cetekçi), Uzbek yetakchi, Uyghur يېتەكچى (yëtekchi, “leader, manager”); also compare with Khakas чидекчі (çidekçí, “a blind person's guide”), Tuvan чедикчи (čädïkčï, “a blind person's guide”), etc.
